Remote Boot and Configuration Services (RBCS) is a set of tools thatsaves network administrators' time and money by making it easy to managelarge numbers of 3Com terminal servers and NetBuilder bridge/routers ina distributed environment. Management of boot images, hardwareconfigurations, and user menus is all centralized.RBCS is intended for use with leading SNMP platforms such as SunNetManager. It has two flavors of standard boot protocols -- bootp/tftp,including added security features and system load protocol, the IEEE/ANSIdraft standard.
